It is challenging for us to know everything about KUPSA coatings Brand, broadly speaking, we can say that KUPSA develops three lines of varnishes and derivatives: Polyurethane, ultraviolet (U.V), and water-based range, all of them are distributed according to type, sector, and mark.

The Polyurethane range is the main and most developed line. It is the one that best polishes and flaunts the furniture. Depending on the components, there are two subfamilies, polyurethane, and acrylic. The first stands for its maximum coverage and acrylic stand for its hardness and transparency, resisting oxidation; however, there are other additives that can improve the qualities of both subfamilies.

The ultraviolet range has the great advantage of beating the record of drying, making possible the manipulation of wood boards up to five minutes after being applied the varnish, Furthermore, when it is applied on products with a high number of solids, drying can be reduced to seconds. To give you an idea, ArtesMoble needs three days for drying the varnish during the furniture finishing process depending on the season; which, together with other processes of stained and sanding, can last five up to seven days.UV varnish is commonly used for large factories that manufacture lot size kit furniture, like IKEA and other similar brands that produce low-quality furniture, as well as, kitchen, doors, and parquet flooring manufacturers.

The water-based range has the main feature of producing less degree of pollution, this production line is in a growing phase and development; therefore, the price-quality ratio is much greater than traditional polyurethane systems.
